How do we
install hardscapes? Proper
Installation of a hardscape is our #1 goal. Attention to
detail assures that the surface stays in proper position for many
years. The area is excavated, then all debris is collected and
disposed of off-site. A 12"(inch) base is installed and tamped
to assure the base is firm and won't move. The area is then
leveled, pavers are arranged per the home owner's choice of pattern
and all end cuts are made. A finishing touch is the sand grout
that is swept into the spaces between pavers.

How do we install plants? Dordan
prides itself in choosing only the healthiest plant material
available. Plants are hand selected at local nurseries,
ensuring the they are hardy for local weather conditions.
Plants are bid out as a "Green Goosd Allowance", which is an amount
we feel will adequately cover the cost of your plant material.
If you were to choose more expensive plant material, the "Green
Goods" cost will increase; if you were to choose less
expensive plant material, the "Green Goods" cost will decrease,
accordingly. All plants are sold to you at OUR cost
(wholesale). We do not add additional cost onto the price and,
therefore, the plant material is NOT guaranteed. All plants
are planted in quality top soil, and in prime conditions to insure
the growth and prosperity of the plant. Following
a regimen of proper watering and continued, proper
maintenance will assure a long and health life for your
plants.

How do we
install lawns? Proper excavating and leveling is key
to a beautiful lawn. Eliminating ruts, dips, and swales
assures that no drainage problem will ensue. High quality to
soil is applied over the entire lawn area at a depth of 2
inches. Cross Fire II grass seed in aplies at a rate of 12lb
per 1000square feet. This is about 3 times the amount of grass
seed that most lawn installers use. Our lawns come up thick
and lush, giving you the "golf course" lawn you've always dreamed
of. The whole lawn area is covered with straw of pen
mulch. These natural elements are porcessed into your lawn
once you start cutting the grass.

How will you leave my
property when the job is done? We pride ourselves in “old fashioned
workmanship” where we leave your home in pristine condition. We have
heard horror stories of contractors leaving huge piles of dirt,
debris or trash for the customer to dispose of. We leave the job
when it is “done right”, no mess, no hassle.

Once we agree on a
job, what comes next? Well, you simply sign the
contract (we provide to you) and return it to us with
a check for $100.00. This reserves your space in our
schedule. In late winter and early spring we book jobs up quickly,
and we work on a first-signed(NOT first talked-to), first-served
basis. The day the job starts, we are paid 50% of the contract, and
the balance is due on completion of the work.
